My "old guy" George.... (stick around and you will hear a lot about George)... George perfected a method of
mass processing bucktails. George would go to the butchers during hunting season and obtain and process
hundreds of tails.
This otherwise tedious task is made easy using his "secret tool". Once you have deboned and splayed open
the tail you simply wash, salt and dry the tail like you would any other hide.
This method is great for tails that need the bones removed. But keep in mind that certain tails... namely
squirrel tails are best salted and dried with the bone in.
